the right solution.
The remote sensor converts the gas consentration to an electrical signal ( 0,2..1 mA or 4..20 mA ) and sends it via cable to the GMA 300 controller. The transmission distance may vary up to several hundreds of meters. The GMA 300 digitilizesthe sensor signal and passes the values on to its microprocessor, wich linearizes the signals.
The digital signal processing provides a variety of functions for the flexability of the monitoring system.
The GMA 300 can filter measurement signals, suppress zeropoint deviations, delay or accelerate alarms or, by recognizing certain trends, activate an alarm even before a dangerous gas concetration is reached.
